Autumn, my favourite season in paris. A breezy relief from the heavy heat of the summer. I love watching the changing light, it’s golden and pink. I always look forward to all that earthy produce spilling into the markets! We’ve also recently discovered Alan Passard’s organic paniers which we pick up from his restaurant ( Arpege ) every Friday evening. They’re filled with seasonal goodies from his garden in Normandy. The apples are so good. We’ve been making lots of apple compote’s with vanilla and canelle – a favourite of Lili’s too! Afternoon walks at Rodin to see the changing colours and the sculptures ( Lili finds them freaky & funny ). Carrot cake at Judy’s and sailing the boats at Jardin du Luxembourg…holding on to these last days.
