Pink Champagne

There’s something so special about spending this time of year with family and close friends. Every year, I fly back to Ireland and cannot imagine being anywhere else, with family and friends traveling from all corners of the world to make it back home for Christmas. As clichéd as it may sound, it’s the only time of year we all get to be together. We laugh a lot and hold dear the festive traditions: eating way too many mince pies, drinking way too many mulled wines, singing too many songs and turning up to midnight mass, a little too merry!

I’m now back in Paris spending New Year’s Eve getting ready for a little soirée. Although, I’m missing my family, I cannot wait to embrace the things I love about living in France; to hear the popping of pink champagne; to try out my new vintage champagne glasses (found on a recent trip to Champagneand to raise a glass with my friends here tonight!

So here’s to peace, love, laughter and lots of pink champagne in the New Year!!

  1. Merci for your French posts. I am a New Zealander who loves everything French and am so inspired from the French sites I visit.

    Bonne année
