At The Broken Arm

On Saturday morning, keeping the adventurous vibes alive, we (hubby and I) ditched the usual morning market shop and headed to The Broken Arm Café and concept store by Carreau du Temple. I’ve been dying to visit this place and it’s been on my visit-wish-list for a very embarrassingly long amount of time…

The weather was beautiful: ideal for a table en terrace, drinking coffee, soaking up the ambience and watching the world cycle by! It was one of those great weekend mornings! I could have sat there for hours, but I was keen to make the most of the beautiful light and to take some photos, so we walked through the park and checked out the tango classes au Carreau du Temple. It’s such a cool little area with amazing local street-style on show around every corner.

We circled back to The Broken Arm to check out the concept store. It has a great selection of books and fashion forward pieces. Although, I must admit, I was totally distracted and gravitating towards the delicious looking salads and spicy soups I could spy through the glass window, coming out of the kitchen of the café…

So back to the café. I opted for the seasonal beet salad and a spiced pumpkin soup. It was so deliciously tasty. I love the local feel about this café, the kind of place where you can come for a morning coffee and linger until lunch. The staff are so friendly, the coffee is great but above all the food is super-healthy, tasty and seasonal.

Et Voilà, a selection of photos from one fine morning at The Broken Arm
