A beautiful sunny afternoon in the heart of the Bois de Boulogne aboard Le Lac Inférieur. Together with Clara and Clemence, we meet at the dock of the lake and hop on board a charming little boat to ferry us across to one of the islands. Camera and kit in tow, sunshine and a beautiful summer breeze…the promise of a sun-soaked adventure was in the air…
This particular island is inédit, best known for the restaurant Le Chalet des Iles but less known for it’s secret gardens and walks tucked behind. When temperatures soar, its a great place to escape to and a great place for a picnic. It’s also a great place to get a head start on summer bronzing and the ideal place to set the stage for this next series of Ysé Style.
In the bright afternoon light, I hoped we would find suitable shade and a spot to shoot. While I scouted, Clara and Clemence put together five looks pairing Ysé’s new swimwear collection and their own personal summer favourites they had brought along. And I really love the relaxed summer style they put together.
What I also love about this series is the idea of being able to integrate swimwear into everyday style. Whether it’s a picnic in the Bois de Boulogne, walking to the beach, or from the pool to beach bar. Our bikini tops and one-pieces have never travelled so far! Here are two of my favourite looks from this summer series.
For more summer style inspiration, Clara is posting a look a day from this series on Ysé les Confidentes. It’s definitely worth a peek!
