Rendez Vous Février

A couple of  things that caught my eye this month: from pink flamingo pâtisseries, to blushing pink decorated brasseries, and vibrant new boutiques, it’s been pure eye candy…

Flamants Roses

If you like pink flamingos, I recommend a peek at Le Bon Marché’s collaboration with the Webster Miami Hotel. Expect a Bon Marché flamingo take over, adorable accessories, flamingo pâtisseries and fun designs. I especially love the “Tote Shopper” from their flamingo capsule collection!

Rendez Vous in Paris Travel Tote

Sticking with Totes, I am on the look out for a travel bag. This weekend I spotted a gem at the book shop of Le Royal Monceau. Barbra Rihl’s custom bag for the hotel is the perfectly chic, 48 hour bag. Does one go for the classic black or glam it up with the red?…either would make a perfect weekend travel companion…

A Missoni Moment

My dream summer dress is a Missoni dress, good news for Missoni lovers like me, they have just opened a stunning new boutique on Rue St Honoré. I popped by at the weekend. It’s just as vibrant and beautiful as their signature zig-zag designs and summer colours – like a long balmy summer day in St Tropez…

Oh My!

On the subject of beautiful things…getting prettier by the day: a brand new boutique in Montmartre, a stunning new website…interviews, beauty secrets and fabulously sourced beauty offerings from the French beauties behind – Oh My Cream!

A Powder Pink Make Over

Parisian designer, India Mahdavi has given London’s Sketch restaurant a new blushing makeover. Never did ‘ThinkPink’ seem like a more appropriate description for this London brasserie. Laduréesque powder pinks and pink velvet furnishing make me want to hop on the train for lunch right now. On y va!

A New Daily Obsession

A long time admirer of the sharp styling, editorial and photography of the Self Service Magazine, I recently discovered the Self Service Ipad app – perfect coffee time photo and style gazing inspiration. My new daily obsession…okay take it away now…

In the studio with…

With fashion week around the corner, I really enjoyed watching the New York Times interview with Lanvin’s Alber Elbaz….he just seems like the most humble, and adorable designer. His office is the only place he feels “skinny & beautiful”. A soft soul but fierce force behind the iconic French fashion house. I have my eye on this season’s stunning one-piece, spotted also at Le Bon Marché.
