Some new addresses I’m adding to my little black book and dying to try this month
Angelina watch out! Sébastien Gaudard has opened a beautiful new pâtisserie on Rue Pyramides! It’s just as heavenly as the spot in the 9th. This one has the added bonus of a tea salon upstairs. It’s expected to open in a week or two…breakfast anyone?
Two fab new beauty addresses in the 7th 1. Les Petits Soins, recommended by beauty expert Victoire de Taillac. A chic little beauty salon on Rue Bosquet, with friendly service and beauty treatments, exactly how they should be. 2. A beautiful new urban spa Cayola Spa, offering hammam, aqua-biking and all the perfect soins and treatments to beautify November.
The Louis Vuitton Foundation has opened its doors to the public. I recommend the Frank Gehry café for breakfast. I could run away with those Louis Vuitton trunks (hanging on the walls of the café), alternatively, Resee does the work for us with their curation of Louis Vuitton vintage travel finds.
In an effort to eat clean before the festive indulgence gets under way, I’ve been checking out some healthy eating spots recommended by my friend Axelle Tess; Thank You My Deer, Noglu and Mure mean it’s getting easier to find healthy eating spots on the go. Eleonora Galasso, is showing us how to eat the healthy Italian way through her Monday night workshops – La Dolce Travola. The beautiful Moraima, from Studio K is sharing her monthly beauty, health and fitness tips for surviving winter here.
A modern day palace. The Peninsula Paris has also opened its orient doors. It’s every bit as exquisite as I expected. Cocktails in the bar are high on my agenda this month. Beyond cocktails, there is a whole new nightlife scene in Paris, (I never knew of) uncovered by Vogue! Now, the remaining question: what to wear for cocktails?
Départment Feminin has got me dreaming of this after dark beauty…
