Last week, I was invited to lunch at Maison Blanche, a restaurant perched on the top floor of the Théâtre des Champs Elysées on Avenue Montaigne. It’s a dramatic spot for sure with panoramic views of Paris, set in a vibrant beautifully designed light-filled space.
Twin chefs Jacques & Laurent Pourcel serve up delicious Languedoc inspired seasonal cuisine. The service is impeccable and the welcome is warm. I love the ambience and atmosphere here. You can choose to sit in cosy booths, close to enormous glass windows, or en terrace if weather permits – each offering a unique view of Paris while you tuck into some seriously tasty dishes.
After lunch, I stepped out en terrace for coffee and dessert. The viewpoint from here; La Tour Eiffel to the right, a sneaky peek into the windows of the Givenchy Haussmannien building in front, and the views of La Seine to the right were a lunch time highlight…you could linger here all day. On a balmy summer evening, as the sun sets, I imagine a dinner here would be truly magical!
If your looking for a lunchtime or dinnertime high, I recommend a visit.
