This month’s coffee table offers a seasonal refresh, taking cues from the chic bad habits of Caroline de Maigret, warm golden tones from galleries in Provence, vintage treasures, coral summer tones, and all things ‘oh so trésor’.
On the coffee table: Introducing the impossibly chic, fun book; ‘How to be Parisian’ by Caroline de Maigret and friends, filled with lots of chic anecdotes and insights à la Parisienne. A coffee-cup postcard from an artist whose work I fell in love with (but can only afford the postcard) from a great gallery in Provence. A favourite summer lipstick from Clarins, which is almost gone, like those last summer days (sigh).
A touch of Chanel. A post card from Yasminne Eslami’s lingerie boutique (I just discovered this weekend), sublime, sexy and oh so Parisien! A small coffee cup saucer from Astier de Villate, which I have decided is far too precious to use as a coffee cup saucer and is now being used as a ring holder. My favourite scarf and bag, just because I love the colours. How about you, what’s inspiring your coffee table this month?
