I am dying to visit Tokyo especially during the cherry blossom season. I find Japanese style fascinatingly chic. Until that one fine day in Tokyo, I will have to find little bites of Tokyo here in Paris to keep me inspired. Fortunately there are many Japanese inspired places in Paris. I just discovered Mori Yoshida the Japanese inspired patisserie on Avenue de Breteuil. I love the simplicity and the clean lines of the décor. I love how precise thought is given to every detail, I kind of imagine Japanese culture a little that way. Everything is handled finely and delicately, from the flavours to the presentation. You only need to glance at the selection of chocolates, patisseries, cakes and the very sweet Easter eggs on display here to appreciate the flavours of Japanese culture. The difficult thing is deciding what to have. Can I just run away with everything?
