A Secret Garden

Can you guess where?

It’s the garden of the Musée Rodin. It’s a recent discovery. I have been cycling by it for almost three years now telling myself I must visit. If June wasn’t the perfect time, I don’t know when? On an early Summer’s morning it must be one of the most beautiful and romantic places in Paris. The roses are blooming, the lawns are emerald green and the Rodin sculptures are so life like that you imagine they could come alive at night.

One way to tell of course, is to visit at night. On wednesday evenings it opens late, I think it would be magical. I just need to work out a way to smuggle in a picnic basket and a bottle of Veuve Clicquot. I don’t think Rodin would mind, would he?

  1. I was actually thinking of going there myself on a Wednesday night! It must be special at sunset. And I’ve had a picnic at lunchtime in these gardens before so I suppose you could do that for dinner?

    • Bonjour Anne,

I think it would be very special at sunset and I hope to make it soon. Do report back if picnics are allowed in the evening too!Fingers crossed for you for a nice sunset 🙂
