They say the devil is in the details, and as we are little devils for finding beautiful little things for the home, on Friday, I took a trip to the Maison & Objet home-fashion show here in Paris. Maison et Objet is the biannual interior design and decoration trade show that takes place at the ‘Parc des Expos’ outside of Paris.
To say the Maison & Objet is a grand show would be a small under-statement. There are eight massive halls. Each hall has a specific focus (Art & Craft, Table wear, Textiles, Accessories, Furniture) and each hall contains a world of decoration, interior design, products, home wear, and trends from around the world. There is so much to take in that you definitely need a day or two there to give it justice! Over the next few weeks, in a mini home fashion series I will be sharing some of my finds and inspirations from Maison & Objet every Tuesday. Calling it Tuesday Trésors!
Mon first coup de coeur went to Pascale Palun’s Vox Pouli deco. A wonderful collection of interior accessories with mysterious and poetic flair. I fell head over heels for these little chiuaua…
How much is that doggie in the window?
